Dory Ann Myers was a 43 year old from Vero Beach, Florida.

She had a son and loved poker.

On the evening of January 10, 2006,

Dory went out to a couple bars,

then ended up back at her house, allegedly with two military veterans.

Early the next morning, Dory's house and car were found on fire.

She was never seen again.

I'm at Denzel and this is unfound. Oh, If you ever read articles that cover such things, fire is considered to be one of the greatest human achievements of all time,

along with the invention of the wheel, the computer, and the printing press.

The ability to make and control fire allowed humans to live in areas that could never

inhabit before, to cook meat making it safer to consume for its nutrients, to

forge metals and create alloys that moved our distant ancestors into the bronze and iron ages,

to create methods of transportation from the steam engine to jet propulsion.

Without the knowledge of how to create fire, humans would still be living in caves. Of course, due to human nature, that which is inherent in our genes all these centuries later despite our technological achievements.

I am guessing within a few days of the discovery of fire, one caveman tried to kill another

with it.

And fire continues to be an element of many crimes in the 21st century.
