to register for our blog and join a progressive army. Today is Sunday, December 13th, 2020. Thanks so much for joining me. It's been a while since I've done just a straight out podcast that's not attached to the live stream so this is just me talking into the

microphone and I'm choosing to do this today instead of video because I want to just

get all of my thoughts out without the burden of, well, I just want to get my

thoughts out. We'll leave it there. I want to talk briefly because I have a whole lot of work to do and we all do. I know you do.

So I'm not going to use much of your time. But I do have to speak about the kerfuffle that's happening on

Twitter and on a scale of of significance I would rate

what's happening on Twitter with the arguments that's going on around Alexandria, Casio Cortez and the

youtuber Jimmy Dorr suggesting that are demanding that she

forces a vote on Medicare for all in the house with Nancy Pelosi speaker and with the knowledge that it will fail.

And the purpose of it, the suggestion and the strategy, is that it will allow the people to get on record,

Nancy Pelosi and all the Democrats records, get on the record that they don't support Medicare for all.

And the idea is that this is going to be toxic to them as candidates in 2022

because the majority of Americans support Medicare for All.

And Alexandria Kasey of Cortez, she weighed in on the conversation and she basically

explain why she wouldn't do it.

One, because it is guaranteed to fail

currently right now despite the fact. It is, you know, the real problem is that we

have representation in Washington DC that is not reflective of the will of the people.
