Lela is also the executive director of Amazon Watch, which has been doing some incredible work

base building with indigenous organizations all throughout Ecuador and Brazil and Peru and working with communities to preserve their land and also fight against giant companies like Chevron cases that they have won and that have been rolled back and then they're

viciously fighting and she's been doing this work for I don't know 15 years now?
