self-quarantine stuff.

It's really kind of important.

We're seeing the spread of this pandemic in a lot of cases because people are ignoring it

or taking it lightly.

So I hope you're not.

I hope you're being smart, protecting your family and your loved ones, and doing what you need to do to be healthy and safe.

But anyway, tonight we're going to be talking about doomsday cults. We're really excited to have our guest tonight. Alan Warren is an author. He's written a book called Doomsday Colts,

The Devil's Hostages. And he has written a bunch of true crime stuff and many, many books

on the topics that we're going to talk about tonight. But what is it about people like

Charles Manson or Jim Jones or David Koresh or some of these other people that gain this group of followers that will do basically anything they tell them to?

In some cases, they go to strangers' homes and commit unspeakable acts of murder.

In other cases, they'll literally drink the Kool-Aid and commit mass suicide, almost

a thousand people.

So what is it about these leaders and these cults that, first of all, attract people, and second of all, make them do things that they

wouldn't most likely do in the normal course of their lives.

So Alan Warren will be our guest tonight, and we'll be talking about that.
