years old that lived those Ninert teams. I mean, wasn't, you know, Willis even he said was the best player on the team. Bowman, I think kind of became that too. A little bit.

Wittner was right up there being the heart and soul of Jesus, just before I even knew the guy or ever thought that I'd be able to talk to him. I just remember watching him be like, this is why I love football, this type of player. Yeah, Pierre Thomas, is that the player talking about? Oh my god, fucking killed him. You know, it's funny. You and I watched his body guy.

You and I, like, is that a penalty now? Regardless of the hit. You can't stand over him. Right. It's got to be right.

You and I, like a month or two ago, Dante, I saw Dante doing a San Jose State game. And I mentioned to you on the podcast that during the TV broadcast and CBS Sports Network that he did, he said that somebody came up to him and talked about the Pierre Thomas play while he was at the stadium.

Well, I mentioned that story when you and I did the show, whatever a month ago. I forgot this part. Somebody DM me and said, I was the guy. I was the, I listened your podcast. I was the guy that walked up the Dante and said, Pierre Thomas.

So we didn't talk to Dante about that, but everyone remembers that play.

Just all right. He's a player that encapsulates what hardball that era meant to just the fan base.

People say I miss what football used to be. They're talking about Dante wouldn't. Yeah.
