So for the second week in a row, in the second week of True Detective, I got I L-O-I-C as my wingman.

And yeah, so spoiler alerts, before we get into anything, there's a big spoiler at the end of this episode of True Detective, and we're going to definitely talk about it.

So what did you think now that you've had two episodes to sort of slide into it?

I actually went back and rewatch the first episode and it actually gave me a clear understanding of what was going on with that episode and appreciation you know more of an appreciation for what was

happening with this episode I really thought it it kind of found its footing a

little bit more you know and I really really liked the little twist ending I'll call

it right but what did you think about the happenings?

Did you really kind of find yourself enjoying it more, or are you still kind of thinking about

the first season?

No, I definitely shut the first season off even before the first episode.

And so I kind of knew going in, like, you just can't compare it to the first season.

That was lightning in a bottle and

I felt after the first episode yeah this is an above average you know cops corruption and

sex you called it last week which is you know about right and um you know we got more of it

we got a little more character stuff and there was a big

unexpected development i don't know if this is the influence of game of thrones but they killed off

what was you know seemingly one of the main characters in colin farrell do you really think he's dead

...
