Hey there, boys and girls. Welcome to another edition of the business of sports with Andrew Grant.

Obviously, a little more solemn edition with the loss of Kobe Bryant. And everyone's talking about it.

It's something that dominated a conversation for a few days since we lost him on Sunday morning,

him, his daughter, seven others in the horrific helicopter accident in Southern

California.

And I wanted to have someone on the podcast to talk about him that maybe provided a bit different

perspective.

Donnie Carr is an assistant coach at LaSalle University who's known Kobe since they were in

eighth grade, star player in the Philadelphia area just like

Kobe and a lot of great stories that he'll share with you just a unique true perspective

of Kobe Bryant's evolution as a person and a player from very young I know we're hearing

tributes all over the world about Kobe Bryant, the player that people

knew from the Lakers, but this was earlier.

And I'm in Philadelphia, and I saw this article and saw Donnie Carr, the assistant at LaSalle,

talking about him.
