Now, let the record show, I'm not here to reduce Nick Cannon to this current viral moment he is having because the reality is whether you want to hear this or not, Nick Cannon has done a lot for black people, okay, especially black people in entertainment. So I have no reason to attempt to dunk on Nick Cannon or kick his back in like I see a lot of people doing. I have a lot of love for that brother.

And that viral clip does not change that at all for me.

Now, donkey of the day is about giving people the credit they deserve for being stupid.

And in that moment, I thought what Nick said was stupid, okay, because it lacked a lot of

historical context.

This is just an opportunity to teach and add some historical

context to something that Nick Cannon said on his big drive talk show while in conversation

with Amber Rose. Can we hear the clip? Can we hear what he said? You up there at the elite now?

Not even close. Not even close. Democrats don't care about black people. And they don't care about people color. And the Republicans do. And that's the

misconception. And you know what? I agree with you 100%. Thank you. People don't know that

the Democrats are the party of the KKK. Yeah. People don't know that the Republicans are the

party that freed the slaves. Yeah.

I mean, most of the you and I have some conservative views.
