Let's jump in here's the message.

Your parents ever say to you, a mom or dad or an uncle or an aunt, no, means no.

Do you remember that?

I have vivid memories of my dad reiterating his love by saying when I say it, I mean it.

No means no, which of course, in any way, it's this idea that when I say no,

I don't want to say no again because I said no once and I meant it.

I mean it.

I say what I mean and I mean what I say.

No means no.

I want to speak to you for a few moments along the lines of done means done.

When Jesus says he's done, when Jesus says he's finished, you can count.

You can bank on it.

Jesus means what he says and says what he means.

That brings us to this emotionally charged, gory, bloody moment in scripture.

In John chapter 17, Jesus is quoted saying in verse 4, it is done or it is finished or it

is complete.
