I'm here with Elliot Kaufman and Joe Sternberg. Let's start with the Trump blockade, which began at 10 a.m. Monday,

Eastern U.S. time, enforced by the U.S. Navy.

Elliot, so how is this going to work?

Well, we're going to have to find out in real time, but U.S. Central Command has given us some more information here.

Essentially, ships going to or from Iranian ports or along that Iranian coastline will not be

allowed in or out.

But Central Command says other ships going from other Gulf nations transiting the Strait will be allowed through.

So it won't be a full blockade of the Strait.

It's more quarantining Iranian oil.
