anti-Trump coalition woke up today to the sound of hope. The signs of opposition to Donald

Trump and his administration were everywhere

you looked last night from Capitol Hill, where Senator Cory Booker made history

with a speech taking on Donald Trump and everything he has done,

to Florida, where election results set up alarm bells for Republicans in a state that

have been very much trending their way for years now, to Wisconsin,

where voters resoundingly rejected the chainsaw-wielding billionaire who has spent the last 71 days

gutting the federal government, firing veterans with glee, as well as cancer researchers and aid workers,

and the president who stands by his side day after day.

And they gave a shot in the arm to Democrats.

The liberal candidate winning by 10 points over her Musk and Trump approved opponent for a seat on the highest court in Swing State Wisconsin.

Susan Crawford's win cementing a liberal majority on the Wisconsin state Supreme Court at a time when it is poised to hear cases about abortion rights, labor rights, and potentially congressional maps, which could make a difference in the midterms next year, given the narrow majority Republicans holding the House right now.

But Crawford's win last night in Wisconsin is,

of course, about so much more than that. New York Times reports this, quote, the night's results

demonstrated with Democratic officials have been saying in recent weeks that their voters are fired

up to fight back against a Trump administration set on tearing down large chunks of the federal government.

Judge Crawford's commanding victory could give the party reason to believe that it is on the

verge of coming out of its collective shell and might even have a recipe for winning elections

in the new Trump age. And the key ingredient in that recipe is opposition to the agenda of Donald Trump

and the world's richest man. Elon Musk is deeply unpopular, according to poll after poll after poll.
