this seemed like a good time to speak to the Times Washington correspondent Reese Blakely to get his sense of how Donald Trump

ended up in the White House and what to expect once he gets behind the desk in the

Oval Office on Monday. Of course Michael Gove interviewed Donald Trump

for the Times this week in which he promised a speedy trade deal with Britain after Brexit

talked about how much his mother likes the Queen and even asked how Nigel Farage is doing, which is nice of him.

But I began by asking Reese what impact the interview had had over in America.

So it's fair to say that Trump's interview with Michael Gove has had an impact in the United States.
