President Trump was disqualified under a clause in the 14th Amendment and this is an amendment that was added

after the Civil War and disqualifies from public office anyone who swore to defend

the Constitution and then quote engaged in insurrection or rebellion.

Specifically the ruling which is 213 pages long says that any speech

Donald Trump engaged in related to the event January 6 was not protected

under the First Amendment, that rather, quote, President Trump incited and encouraged the use of

violence and lawless action to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power."

And also that he is therefore guilty of insurrection and that he's disqualified from
