As he makes another run for the White House, Donald Trump is facing four criminal investigations,

including two linked to his attempts to overturn his 2020 election defeat.

But it's arguably the least serious of those four cases that has landed in the dubious distinction

of becoming the first US president sitting or former to face criminal charges.

As you may have heard in our previous edition, Mr. Trump was indicted by a grand jury in New York on Thursday,

following an inquiry into a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Inevitably the news of the indictment has prompted contrasting reactions from his supporters

and his critics.

It shows that somebody can't just be in that office of the presidency and get away with murder.

And death and destruction as Trump calls for, literally.
