Thanks so much for listening. Today on the podcast, Donald Trump's paying attention.

It seems that the president has now focused in a bit more on the brewing and developing 2020 race for the Democratic nomination.

He seems to be a little more interested in sizing up his potential competition.

Maybe what really sparked his thinking about this was the fact that Bernie Sanders appeared on his favorite news channel,

Fox News channel, in a town hall setting the night before last.

Last night, Donald Trump tweeted the following three tweets. I'll read them here for you.

Many Trump fans and signs were outside of the Fox News studio last night in the now thriving,

thank you, President Trump, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for the interview with crazy Bernie Sanders.

Big complaints about not being let in, stuffed with Bernie supporters.

What's with Fox News?

Bernie Sanders and wife should pay the pre-Trump taxes on their

almost $600,000 in income. He is always complaining about these big tax cuts, except when it

benefits him. They made a fortune off of Trump, but so did everyone else. And that's a good thing,

not a bad thing.

I believe it will be crazy Bernie Sanders versus sleepy Joe Biden as the two finalists to run against maybe the best economy in the history of our country and many other great things.

I look forward to facing whoever it may be, may God rest their soul.

Which is usually what you say after someone dies, I guess.

So I guess he's predicting that he will vanquish whoever the opponent is.

Here's the thing.

First of all, just as a fact check on the taxes,

when he says that Bernie Sanders is always complaining about these big tax cuts except when it benefits him, that's not true.

...
