Yeah, it's one of those times in which you really don't need to know what my lead story is going to be.

It's a lead story at your kitchen table last night, maybe on the subway, on the way home, your train, your plane, your airport.

It is about the indictment for the first time in American history of a president or criminal indictment.

And we never thought it was going to happen. Why? Because they told us it was going to happen.

They said the grand jury will no longer meet this week. They're going to be off for a few weeks.

And what I'm postulated, what I thought was is they talked and they said, we don't want you to be first, Alvin Bragg.

The case is the weakest. Georgia's ready to go. That was my speculation because Georgia's been ready to go for weeks.

But man, around two o'clock in the afternoon, it turns out three prosecutors walked into the grand jury room with the penal code.

They went over things. And next thing, you know, minutes before everybody was sent to go home, the indictment filed around 520, we get word.

And nothing's been the same since, especially with Jonathan Terley, who I've been harassing when he wasn't on television.

And he's kind of enough to text me back. Jonathan Terley, welcome.

Thanks. Jonathan, first off, your, your reaction since you left air last night.

And my main question is if it's just about Stormy Daniels, I know it, we're debating, but we don't know what we don't know, correct?

Right. We have to wait to see what the indictment actually charges with the report of 34 counts.

That can be explained in a couple of ways. It can be count stacking, which is a favorite of prosecutors.

They cut off what is basically one criminal act and they cut it up by little insular acts or decisions.

In this case, it would be payments given to Cohen or other people and you charge every single one as a separate offense.

It's also possible that they're mixing in different allegations, payments to other people or even, you know, bank and tax fraud issues.

All of those possible charges run into the same problem.

Most of those special limitations has run. So they may be using different fact patterns, but the same bootstrap theory, which is so controversial.

We keep hearing that term, Jonathan. What does that mean?
