So there was a special election in Georgia yesterday to fill the seat vacated by Marjorie Taylor Green.

It was very crowded.

There were 20 people running, I think 17 of the Republicans, two Democrats and an

independent or libertarian or something.

And the Democrat, Sean Harris, who had run against Green in 2024, came in first with 37.3% of the vote.

And the next candidate, Republican, Clayton Fuller, got 34.9% of the vote. So because neither got a majority, there will be a runoff, I believe, in April.

So Sean Harris, again, a Democrat,

retired brigadier general of the Army,

excellent candidate,

came in first in a very crowded field,

and the New York Times headline ran with Donald's

preferred Republican won. So the Democrat wasn't even mentioned. Now it is true that Donald did

endorse Clayton Fuller and it is true that Donald did endorse Clayton Fuller, and it is true that there

were many, many Republicans running, and Republicans won, in the aggregate, won probably twice

as many votes as the Democrats. But still, the fact that the candidate Donald endorsed couldn't beat a Democrat,

even in a crowded field, I think is kind of not necessarily a good thing.

Also remembering that elections like this bring out the most rabid Republican voters.

Now, does this mean that Sean Harris is going to win in April in a contest, in a head-to-head contest between him and Fuller?

I don't know. It is a very, very, very red

district. So it might be unlikely. But considering, again, Donald's endorsed candidate couldn't

get more than 34.9% of the vote. And Democrats, if you have you been paying attention, are extraordinarily motivated this

year.
