Last night, Donald was thoroughly humiliated at the Kennedy Center's opening night of the musical Le Miserables.

After his hostile takeover of the Performing Arts Center, it's clear the arts community wants nothing to do with him.

He was met with a mixed reaction, including loud booing as he entered.

This is the guy who is trying to destroy both our country and the arts.

I think Donald is starting to figure out, perhaps, that there may be very, very few safe spaces for him in this

country. The booing was not the only act of resistance. Ten out of the 12 actors in the performance

chose to sit out opening night, refusing to perform in front of Donald. That's a sacrifice for Broadway performers.

Opening night is not just symbolic.

It's a milestone for them.

And yet, they chose to give that moment up for something bigger.

Their values and the values that this country is supposed to stand for.

But perhaps the boldest protest came from a group of drag queens who took their seats

right at the front of the theater, fully visible to both Donald and J.D. Vance who were

watching from the balcony, dressed in full drag.

They made sure their presence was unmistakable.
