He's going to tell you why the 2018 draft class at quarterback is starting to look a little bit

depressing. But first, how about that trading deadline? Incredible. In fact, you know, so much action at the trading deadline that Connor Orr of the MMQB

went back and looked up every single trading deadline day two three leading up to it to see how this one

ranked where there were six trades on the weekend of the trading deadline.

And he found that this was the busiest trading deadline weekend

of the salary cap era that includes 24 seasons so you're not imagining things if you thought that

boy that was a really busy kind of crazy trading deadline time and not only just in terms of

volume but I would say five of the trades were really interesting with either

pro- Bowl players or players of significance.

You know, and I think one of the things that happen at this trading deadline is that it's not only two weeks later in the last three years of a

trading deadline, they moved it back to try to encourage more teams to trade. But I also think that one of the things that's

happened is that young general managers, rookie general managers, John Lynch in

San Francisco, pulled off the huge trade getting their quarterback of the future, Jimmy

Garopolo from New England, in a shocking trade for a second round pick.
