When we hold on to feelings like rejection, betrayal, and disappointment, they can make us feel bitter and focused on the people who have hurt us.

If we aren't careful, we can get stuck in our

pain, unable to move forward and robbed of the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Today,

Joyce wants to show us how, with God's help, we can choose a lifestyle of forgiveness and trust him

to work out our hurt for his good. Now here's Joyce with today's series, Bert, but not bitter.

The Bible says in Mark 417 that many are offended by trouble.

These are people who have no deep roots.

They hear the word and it sounds exciting until they have to apply it in their life.

Isn't my message good today on, it's so good. You'll clap and cheer for it. I wonder how

much you'll like it this afternoon if you have to apply it. It's the truth. We think it's all good

when we're just hearing it. But it's putting it to work in our life. That's where the pain starts.

It's when it happens to you.

Oh, how easy it is to preach to everybody else.

And be the same way with me.

I can just enjoy myself preaching to you guys this weekend last night all day to day.

But let me tell you something, I get home tonight and something happens that I don't

like, then I'm going to have to apply what I've been preaching to you all day.

And if you think you get tested, you should live on this end of it.

I'll tell you what I'm doing is dangerous.

You better be ready to live the life because the devil is going to come after you. Amen?
