God's love for you is unconditional.

Preaching that God loves you unconditionally is the wrong message.

God has a good will towards everybody, believers and non-believers.

But there is another love reserved only for those who embrace the gospel and put their trust in Jesus as a Lord and Savior.

Hey, I'm Jimmy Hicks in the studio.

As always, Todd is out on the campus of Kinesis State University this week.

And before we get to him, I wanted to tell you about a text I received earlier in the week.

It was from a friend of mine who was asking for some advice as it pertains to evangelism.

And as we talked, it became really clear that his struggle really wasn't with evangelism as much as it was how he viewed himself in his role in God's economy.

And I wanted to share that with you because I wanted to recommend to you the same thing I recommended to my friend if you have the same struggles that he is having.

I want to point you in the direction of a book that you can find in the wretched store called Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands by Paul David Tripp.

The book will give you a better understanding of just how to approach people and how to see them through God's eyes, not your own.

And I just wanted to share that with you before we got out to the campus and Todd, which is what we're going to do right now because we don't waste time here at wretched.
