Imagine a world where people took all the energy that they use and consume in the analysis

and criticism of anything, anything opposite and foreign to what they believe, whether

it be religion, political stance, style of personality, any harness that and flipped it

and turned it into the energy that pushes whatever they want to do.

For example, I see people, especially now in political year, mad at this party, take gun

control.

I was actually on the set of CSI and I was with Ted Danson, who was very interesting.

He's one of the actors you might know from Cheers, but he's also on CSI and we had lunch

in his trailer and he said, Ty, he said, what do you think on gun control?

Because he's more of a Democrat, he's good friends with the Clintons, he told me.

So it was interesting because he's anti-gun control and I was there with my friend Zach, who

comes from like a conservative family there in Texas and they're more pro-gun.

And I was thinking, he asked me this question, I don't want to offend him, I'm like with him

and I was just thinking, but I also wanted to tell the truth what I actually believe

and it's about what I just said at the beginning.

What if both sides, because nobody wants children getting killed, there was just a shooting

in Riverside the other day where two people went in in this center and shot up all these people

killed, nobody wants that, whether they be Republicans or Democrats, nobody who sane

wants innocent people killed, right?

So what if both groups and both political stances took all that energy that they take

fighting, trying to convince the other side?

Because you're never going to convince the other side.
