Summary
There are only a few bills with strong bipartisan support in the soon-to-be lame duck Congress. Requiring AM radio in new cars is one of them. Proponents say AM radio is a vital part of the Emergency Alert System and still broadcasts news in rural communities. Carmakers aren’t buying it.
