Ever since joining a new Pilate studio recently, there is a line that's used again and again.

I can't help chuckle when the teachers say it.

I can't help internalizing it going,

I've got to talk to my pod listeners about this. We've got to talk about this important sentence

that could be thrown around in places outside of a Pilate studio for sure. Use this line.

Add this line to your life. Use it with your team, use it with your kids.

I find it very powerful in its simplicity, which is, don't think about it.

Don't think about it.

You know, one thing that happens if you take Pilates reformer classes is that you have a lot of transitions.

So you have to change springs.

You have to move to different parts of the machine.

And the teachers want you to do it really quickly so that you don't lose tension in your body.

And frankly, so you maximize the time in class.

And look, I get it.

Sometimes it's confusing, especially if you're new or,

you know, with a kind of different, like there's the bungee, there are the handlebars, there are

different components to the machine. Sometimes it takes us a bit longer to transition into certain moves

than others. But what's interesting is that when they often just amplify the class, they'll take it

up a notch. They'll put you in a more advanced position. They'll say, don't think about it. Just go.

Don't think about it. Don't think about it. And I think, my gosh, what if we just apply this to more?
