Today I have a word for you.

Man, I'm excited to be in the house of God today.

Today is a special day in our church because we have decided to take the word of God seriously.

And a lot of churches in this season are on the fence about what we do about what the word says.

And it's a scary time, honestly, for a lot of people because a lot of people just be making stuff up to make people come to the church.

The one thing we will never do is make anything up to appease people.

We have to stick to the plan that God gave us and he gave us instructions in the word of God.

And so today for the past, I think we've done for what? For years.

This is our fourth year doing flood Sunday and this is a time where people have decided that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

But I don't want to have a side chick savior.

Y'all know what I'm talking about? A side chick savior.

Okay, let me just start with the first word. A side chick.

Like some of y'all, some of you, some people's booty just got tight because I came down your street.

But a side chick is the girl you talking to and claim in the dark but won't make any public statements about.

That thing that you call them after 10, 11, 12. What are you doing?

You should be asleep but, but but it's a relationship with benefits but no association.

And most people treat Jesus like that. Save me but I won't claim you.

Uh-oh. Be my Lord in the time of me.

But when I'm ever confronted about you, I'm always gone.

I mean, I just let people think whatever they think. You know, I'm just letting them in.
