Let's dive into this episode. Go at the pace of God's grace and go at the pace of

nursing children, meaning the weakest member of our family has to feel like they are a part of

this. That means that the pace of our life has to be in such a way that we can

touch people, they can touch us, that we feel the grace of God. And what accelerates that pace,

a lot of times is ambition. And sometimes what accelerates that pace is someone else's pace.

But we just are not in the same race. We're not in the same. We don't have the same set of skills.

So with us, we pay attention to the season that we are in. Sometimes our pace is very fast. But there's the grace of God on that. This season, pastor's wife said to me, she said, hold very tightly to who you are and who God has called you to be and don't allow others to define who you are. That was very hard to do because you're,

you know, the minute you step into the pastoral role, everybody walks in the door with their,

how they define a pastor's wife or how they define a pastor. One day in prayer God said to me, he said,

I want you to be the best nobody that you can be. And I was like, okay, I think I can do that. Then I began to strive to go low

and not to have a particular image and to let God begin to define my role and who I am.

to have Vlad and Lana Savchek from Hungry Jen Church. Guys, thank you so much for being here

today. We're going to have a conversation kind of personal and then kind of related to those of you who are listening in maybe some of your personal marriage family challenges.

And so I just want to pose the question right at the front end here.

You guys have been in ministry for around 20 years. Is that right?

Yeah.

Yeah. For me. And then my wife, when we got married, last 14 years.

Yeah. So, and you've been married 14 years. We've been married many, many years.

Your wife said yes, I think, 80 years?
