morning mindset today. Well, after our two or three week excursion into, man, if

I could say that word would be great, excursion into the issue of our identity

in Christ, we are moving back to our study of Proverbs. We're going to be

looking at Proverbs chapter 18, verse 1. Friends, I've had so many of you

respond to me and tell me how the identity in Christ series has been

in benefit to you. Prior to that, I had many people telling me how much they

enjoy Proverbs. I want to encourage you if you are being encouraged by the word of

much. All right, today, we go back into our series in the book of Proverbs and

we're just taking one verse today because it's the only verse in this

chapter that addresses the issue that it does. I'm going to read the verse and

then we're going to come back and talk about it. It says, whoever isolates

himself and herself would apply here as well seeks his or her own desire. He or

she breaks out against all sound judgment. So this is a very interesting phrase,

especially in our culture where there have recently been reasons for isolation,

where the whole COVID pandemic and the response to it required isolation on various

levels at various times. And we're just moving out of that culturally,
