And the Bahamas locals will often say, don't put that word on me.

Meaning if someone says something negative, someone brings a curse.

You know, because words can be curses and words can be powerful, positive and negative.

But they say, don't put that word on me because they recognize the power in the word.

I mean, if we go to the beginning of the Bible, what does it say?

In the beginning was the word.

In the beginning was the word.

So we know everything follows after the word.

The language we have with ourselves is so important, isn't it?

I would say majority of our pain and suffering comes from the word we have with ourselves.

It's the language the dialogue that goes on within us.

But it's also the words that we consume.

It's also the things we allow people to say to us, allowing people to disrespect us.

If someone speaks ill will to you and you allow that sort of abuse, you are allowing

their curse to be put on.

Be put on to you.

But no, don't put that word on me.

Don't put that word on me because the one thing that we do have control over,

we may not be able to control the weather.

We may not be able to control our emotions sometimes.
