our hearts aligned with the truth of God's Word. Today we're going to be looking at

35 to 38. Now we're right at the tail end of a situation where Jesus has spoken with

a woman about receiving from him what he called living water. He's describing his forgiveness

and his salvation as the Messiah in very vivid terms to help her understand this is a form

of spiritual satisfaction that every human being is offered by the living God. She has

gone into the city to tell all the people about it and they are coming out to meet Jesus

and his disciples who were not there when he first met her are a little bit confused. They

were curious why he's talking to her and Jesus had said to them that he had food to eat

that they knew nothing about and that food was doing the will of his father. Well here

in verse 35 he picks up and he says, do you not say they're yet four months then comes

the harvest. Look I tell you lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white for harvest.

Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life so that

sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true one sows and another reaps.

I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored in you have entered

into their labor. Now what is Jesus talking about here? Suddenly he's talking about crops and
