Summary

(Exodus 25:10-11, 16:22) Today's study of the furniture of the tabernacle takes us beyond the veil into the Holy of Holies to the Ark of the Covenant and the Mercy Seat. Discover how this sacred space pictures Jesus Christ as our Propitiation — the covering for our sin, the place where God meets with us, and the reason we can receive mercy instead of judgment. We have moved now from the outer court where the brass altar was,

He could only go there once a year on the Day of Atonement,

and he had to go very particularly as God instructed him to.

But when Jesus died on the cross,

1:37.4

the veil of that temple ran in two from top to bottom,

and God said, come on in.

And the Lord made a way into the holiest of all for every one of us.
