0:59.3	I think the same thing is true when we study the Bible so often we read a chapter,
1:03.5	we breeze several pages of scripture, and in all of that, we learn facts and things
1:09.7	and about people, and we miss Jesus. Could I just remind you that all of that, we learn facts and things and about people and we miss Jesus.
1:12.0	Could I just remind you that all of the written word is to reveal to us the living word,
1:18.0	that all of Scripture is to help us know Jesus better, that all of life is about us coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:26.0	Don't miss Jesus.
1:28.4	Someone said, I thought you were studying in the Old Testament right now.
1:31.4	Oh, I am.
1:32.8	But you can be a New Testament Christian studying and see Jesus in the Old Testament.
1:38.2	The Old Testament is a beautiful picture and reminder to us of the Messiah that was to come.
1:45.2	And so we returned today to our study in Genesis 49.
1:48.2	This is interesting to me.
