Summary

A stay-at-home mom writes in with a passion for life insurance for caregivers and a teacher points out the importance of public service student loan forgiveness. Then, some nice Facebook and Instagram comments from newbies. Plus, a listener in Texas responds to the CNN Business poll saying some states have "returned to pre-pandemic job levels" by pointing out that that information is a BIG oversimplification. The Discord shares advice about asking for tuition reimbursement, not just student loan reimbursement, from their job's HR departments. And finally, do you miss seeing your co-workers every day? Gaby recommends playing background noise from the NERDIEST sources. On the Mail Bag episode on 120 or 1-8, I can't remember. You mentioned it passing doing an episode on life insurance.

1:45.0

Yes, yes, yes, yes, obviously I'm a firm believer in life insurance. There is a policy for every budget and no one should have to worry about money after a tragic death.

1:53.0

Okay, enough advertisement. When you do eventually do this episode, make sure you talk about term and whole life policies and about life insurance for people who do not earn an income.

2:02.0

I currently have a term life policy. Often I notice in my mom circles quote unquote, these women do not purchase life insurance because they have no income to replace.
