And this week, impeachment kicked into high gear. The Judiciary Committee holding its first hearing,

where the House Intelligence Committee left off.

And the very next day, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced

that House Democrats would immediately begin drawing up

articles of impeachment under her direction.

Let the games begin. Meanwhile, President Trump came home from London in a huff

after getting a mixed reaction at best at the Big NATO celebration. The Democratic slate of

candidates for 2020, which gained two new contenders to Valpatrick and Michael Bloomberg last week,

lost two contenders this week with the departure of Steve Bullock and Kamala Harris, and the Trump administration celebrated

the start of the Christmas holidays by kicking almost 700,000 Americans off of food stamps.
