Good morning, guys. Welcome back to Not Your Typical. To be honest, we're all over the place today.

Kind of in a good way. Kind of not. There's just some stuff we'll talk about today. But welcome back.

fail their New Year's resolutions by February. And I thought that was crazy because to me,

this is kind of why I didn't even really go that heavy on talking about New Year's resolutions this year because a healthy lifestyle or my career or the relationships I have in my life.

When I think of like goals for those, I think of long-term things.

I think of the way that I want to live my life for the rest of my life rather than just

like this month or this week or this year. And I think the reason why so many people, quote

unquote, fail their news resolutions, I don't know what else word to use. I feel like that sounds

super toxic and like just not positive in any way. But I think more the reason why people either forget about

their news resolutions or they just don't have it top of mind anymore like everyone did in January.

If you think about it, every podcast you're listening to, every YouTube video, all of the Instagram

content, all the TikToks were super based around New Year's resolutions.

I feel like there wasn't one time when I would watch a video and someone didn't mention,

oh, this is what I want to focus on this year, which I think is great.

Like setting goals is such a great way to better yourself.

I think just the pressure of having a quote unquote New Year's resolution is why people either get frustrated with it

or they overwhelm themselves with it. So I kind of wanted to talk today about how to just keep that
