I was reading the Bible this morning, Acts 27.

And it's a story about Paul on a ship sailing to Italy.

276 people aboard this ship.

It was a grain freighter.

It was taken grain.

It had grown in Egypt to Italy these types of chips usually

140 feet long 36 feet wide 276 people on and they're in port and Paul says

hmm probably not a good idea to set sail the weather doesn't look good and at this

point Paul knew what he was talking about he's traveled 3,500 miles by sea. This is a pretty good mariner. And he's already been shipwrecked three times. So it's amazing he's even on a boat at all at this point. I feel like if I was shipwrecked three times, probably wouldn't get on a boat any more times. He's like, so I don't think we should go out,

but the men in charge of the ship said,

now we're going anyway.

So they're out and they get caught in a storm.

And every day things get more desperate.

Do you imagine being on a ship in a storm?

I couldn't, father,

I went on a half-day fishing trip once in San Diego, and it was miserable.

I don't, I don't think I left, I don't think I went up on top of the boat.

The whole time I was just throwing up in the bottom of the boat.

And it was not a storm.

Everyone else in the boat was having a grand time.

And I, it was miserable.
