Summary

It takes more to equip our kids to launch into their future world and stand against the pressures of society. We must orient our lives towards the most important priorities God has set out for us. What naturally happens is a move away from what’s most important for the sake of our progressing lifestyle. This will be encouraging for every parent with important reminders of where they may want to recalibrate. All show notes, scripture references, and resources mentioned are found at COURAGEOUSPARENTING.COM

Welcome to Crages Parenting Podcast, a weekly show to quit parents with biblical truth on raising

confident Christian kids in an uncertain world. Hi, I'm Angie from Crages Mom.

0:09.8

And I'm Isaac from Resolute Man. We've been married for 21 years and have seen the fruit from

0:14.6

raising our 8 kids biblically based on the raw truth found in the Bible. We can no longer let the

0:20.4

culture win the hearts of children. Too many children from Christian families are walking away from

0:24.8

their faith by age 18 and it doesn't have to be this way. It shouldn't be this way. Join us as we start

those those choices that we make can hurt our family. And sometimes we grow up in a way where we

1:15.7

view for provision reasons and different things like that. Whereas maybe there are other possibilities.

1:21.3

Other possibilities were forced upon us, which gave us really a bird's eye view into how radically

1:27.8

things can change for a family. And it's just really really a cruel thing. So the most important

1:33.7

thing is that all of us, regardless of what activities we're doing, what our work is and these

1:38.9

things is that we're orientating our lives, our leadership and families towards the top priorities.

1:48.8

And what are the top priorities? When we really get down to it, what is the purpose of parenting?

1:54.8

What do you think the purpose of parenting is? He just opened a can of worms when he said that

1:58.8

and looked over at me. We actually cover all of the the theological look at what the biblical

2:05.2

purpose for parenting is and the courageous parenting mental program. So hey, if you haven't joined
