Welcome back to Transform. My name is Dr. Greg Gifford, and I have the privilege of being your host.

And today I want to talk about when a friend starts to become more of ministry than an actual

peer-to-peer friendship. And it does really paint us to lose friends to neediness. And when I talk

about neediness, I do want to be candid that a friend

starts to be a taker and that type of friend can take too much for too long. And then we start to

wonder, well, do we really enjoy being around them? Number one, like, do we now have another dependent?

Like, how long do we stay committed to this friendship as opposed to saying, you know, like,

God bless them. They're at a needy season. This is something that I want to do my best to help kind

feel that gap. And you can harken back. Ooh, you guys like

that harken word, right? I don't know how you spell it harken. I think there's a C.H in there

somewhere, harchen. Harken back to a few episodes ago where we were talking about relationship

skills and honoring and serving one another being one of those relationship skills. There were just
