Everywhere we look, it seems there is something or someone we can choose to be upset with.

We can bicker about any topic on social media or criticize others

for their opinions and beliefs. Often we get that uneasy feeling that everything is just not okay.

There is good news. With God's help, we can improve and even have unity in our relationships.

Be encouraged as Joyce shares how we can overcome strife and receive God's

peace for our lives. Now here's Joyce with today's teaching. First Peter 3, 3, and 4. Let not yours

be merely external adorning with elaborate interweaving and nodding of the hair, the wearing of jewelry,

or the changes of clothes,

and that doesn't mean you shouldn't wear jewelry or wear clothes or fix your hair.

What he's saying is, you spend so much time on the outside, trying to impress each other.

Now, ladies, just, I say this in a spirit of love, so just take it that way.

If we spent as much time getting ready spiritually as we spend trying to look cute when we go out.

I mean, I don't look like this when I get up.

I have to work on this a long time.

You gotta wash the hair, you got to put on the makeup, you've got to curl the hair, you've got to comb

the hair, you've got to try on your clothes.

If you don't like them, you've got to put on another set of clothes, and you put on another

set of clothes, and we look at it every which way that we can look at it.

And then there's the other side of it, there's the people that you look at them and say,
