If you're a history buff, you like history, and especially American history, think about who would be your favorite choice for the, who was the best president ever of the United States?

And, you know, I've heard a lot of different opinions. Last night I actually made the mistake of asking one of the services. And, man, I got tons of different responses everything from ronald regan to jimmy

carter who liked jimmy carter don't don't answer that um but um but as it turns out in recent

Historians love him, political scientists admire him, leadership experts study him.

But here's the thing.

And by the way, he's my favorite president in history for so many reasons.

But I wonder, could Abraham Lincoln ever be elected as president today?

Like if he were to run the same man of character and stature and the worldview, could he

even be elected today? I think the answer is no,

which is troubling to me. I'll tell you why I don't think you could be elected. There's some

surface issues that make it a real problem. See, back in the 1860s, you know, they didn't have

TikTok and Instagram. They didn't have TikTok and Instagram.

They didn't have news channels and television.

In fact, the news was so late you wouldn't get news until weeks later.

And you never hear a recording of his voice because they didn't do that.

But most people that were there talked about his voice. They said that he had a

shrill, sharp voice that was hard to listen to. I'm not sure that'd translate. If he were running

today for the president, you have to have a, you know, silver-toned voice of silk so that people

will like you to hear what you have to say and you can be put to sleep with
