Hey, I'm Carrie Sablefoy, your cheerleader of dreams. Today I want to talk to you about

how to leave your past behind so you can focus on your future. You know, I remember hearing

this statement years ago when I was tormented by memories of my past. They said a person

with no vision will always return to their

past. Now, think about that. If you don't have a vision for your life in some area, you will go right

back to what's familiar. Now, let me tell your story real quick. Now, you may know that each Labor Day

weekend in September, I host a women's event in Dallas, Texas, called icing.

And women come from all over the world to, you know, come together to simply invest in themselves.

And God put it on my heart years ago when I first started the icing women's event, that people would leave their past and go home with purpose,

that they would leave their disappointments and go home with a dream. And that's exactly what

happens. Well, oh my goodness, I love it. It's a highlight of my year. Well, one day, I was going

through some of the mail on my desk that Donna gives me, and I came across this letter from a young

girl who was

17 years old and had stumbled upon our videos here on YouTube. Well as I'm reading

her story my jaw dropped. She had been a prostitute since she was 11 years old.

She was so hurt so wounded and when she came across our channel talking about how God has a plan for your life, he still thinks you're as valuable as the day he made you, Satan is the one out to kill still and destroy your life. Hope began to rise up on the inside of her. And she heard me talk about how a person with no vision will always return to their past.

Well, she did not want to return to her past.

So she got a vision.

And she actually wrote, she said, my biggest dream is to come to your icing event in Dallas

and hear you speak in person. Well, I looked at where she was from

on the envelope and it said, Arizona. And she said, would you pray that someday I can be there?

Well, I laid my hands on her letter and I prayed right then, just believe in God that her
