Welcome to the program today.

Mondo Gonzalez here in studio, and I have through Skype, Jim DeYoung, who has co-authored a book

on Mist the Rapture, How to Overcome During the Tribulation.

And this is a tremendous book.

And so, Jim, just want to welcome me to the program today.

Well, thank you, Mondo.

It's a delight to be here with you.

So, you know, for our audience, I always like to give the guests an opportunity to share

from their perspective what you want the audience to know about you.

So kind of introduce yourself.

All right. Well, I've been teaching at Western Seminary for 40 years, retired seven years ago from full-time teaching and

before that I taught at Montanamo School of the Bible and I came directly out

of graduate school at Dallas Seminary we my wife and I and family live here in a

little town called Damascus which is outside of Portland Oregon Oregon. We have several acres, and on those acres,

we have a huge garden. We raised three head of cattle, and we do other things, too. So it's been a

delight to live in this area for these many years. We were grateful to the Lord for leading us to this

place after being in training for several years.

Yeah, it's amazing. I grew up in Woodburn, just south of you, so I understand, and I know

where Damascus is, and it is a beautiful area, so I know exactly what you're talking about.

It's very nice. I actually was accepted in a Multnomah way back when and didn't end up going there, but it was always on my agenda.

So it's great to kind of have somebody from the same area.

Well, it was a delight to teach there and then following that at Western Seminary for those many years.
