Summary

Pastor Vlad started a new series about relationship with Holy Spirit. Message Notes: Joshua 6:25; 7:1 Rahab vs Achan Rehab hid spies, Achan hid clothes. Rehab was saved, Achan was destroyed. Rehab wanted to be like Israel, Achan wanted to be like Jericho. We must move from living in secret sin to living in the secret place. 1. What are you hiding? Psalm 24:3-4 Sin grows in the dark. Recent victory is not Gods approval on our life. Private sins lead to public scandals. What’s under your tent? Deal with it. 2. Who are you hosting? The Holy Spirit comes by invitation of salvation. Until Jesus Christ is your savior, the Spirit has no resting place in your heart. The Holy Spirit is hosted by surrender. All Christians have the same Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit does not have all the Christians the same. Four reasons we forsake the Holy Spirit: - condemnation - emotional immaturity - busyness - laziness The Holy Spirit is the greatest agent of change. Don’t use the Holy Spirit to get change, allow the Holy Spirit to use you and bring change. Moses did not use God to get miracles, he used miracles to get to know God. Zachariah 4:6 Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, have mercy on me. According to your lovingkindness, cleanse me from secret sins. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Oh Holy Spirit, give me more of you. Oh Holy Spirit take more of me. One of the things that you get a benefit of when you live by yourself is the freedom of

0:45.2

self-expression. And all the men understand what I just said. When you live with other people

0:52.7

or you live like in your parents house there is no freedom

0:55.9

of self-expression you got to be mindful of everybody else or anybody else in that house

1:00.9

me and my wife have had the privilege of having people live with us for the past six years

1:07.6

um constantly from one person to four, sometimes up to five. Sometimes I come into the

1:15.5

1:21.1

Okay, nice to meet you too. And so we love when people visit, but it's a little bit better

1:26.9

when they stay.

1:28.3

You get a chance to see their character and they get a chance to see yours and to really

1:33.8

affect your character.

1:35.4

But one of the things that from an experience of having people live with us and we have people

1:39.8

live with us now is that one of the things that you have to be mindful that the other person is in the

1:47.0

house as a guy because what we love as brothers is we love the ability to be comfortable

1:53.5

and sometimes you know walking around and yeah and stuff and so and then when you have another person living in the house, you know, my wife always says, hey, you can't go there like this.
