Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since 2013, averaging about 21,000

steps a day. I'm walking right now, and I'd love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes.

As we get closer to the new year, this is a really exciting time if you like setting goals,

and I do. Thinking 2023 but I have this history and I've

said this before I have this history of of goal failure a lot of times it was simply goal overreach

I would just make this laundry list of stuff that I wanted to change

that I was really excited about.

And it was too much.

And often within first week, two weeks maybe of the new year,

those goals were, they were set aside like roadkill.

And so I've adjusted the way that I set goals and pursue goals.

And one of the things that I've started doing over the last handful of years that really has been helpful is this time

of year not only looking forward, but also looking backward, looking in the rearview mirror.

How did I do with the goals that I set at the beginning of this year. And so I thought it would be helpful

to work through this in the area of walking and my own walking goals and how I did in 2020.
