The Children of Israel had a talent for forgetting things.

For example, quote, as soon as Gideon was dead, the children

of Israel turned again and went a hoaring after Balaam and made Bail Bareth their God. As soon as their

national hero, who had helped turn them back to God was gone, the Israelites started looking

for a different God. The scriptures also say, quote,

neither shewed they kindness to the house of Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had

shued unto Israel. The Israelites forgot God and forgot to be grateful for all that Gideon had done for them,

which makes me wonder, is there anyone whose kindness I have forgotten to be thankful for? Is there anyone who has been so good to me for so long that I have forgotten to be thankful for?

Is there anyone who has been so good to me for so long that I have started to take them for granted?

Today would be a great day to thank those who we may have forgotten to appreciate.
