| 0:24.0 | we love to have you here we love to hear who you're picking up this week in fantasy baseball and |
| 0:28.6 | I'm going to start here with a guy who plays a lot of different positions he qualifies at first |
| 0:32.9 | second third outfield depending on the league you're in and he's rostered in just 33% of leagues right now, and his name is Brett Beatty of the New York Mets, and Brett Bady's continuing to play right now, Welsh, because he is a guy that, you know, right now is taking advantage of the fact that the Mets have had some injuries here, and the Mets' offense has been playing a little bit better. On the year, the numbers don't look all that great. But over the last six games or so, we've got a guy who's hitting two home runs. He's driven in five. He continues to score runs as well. And again, playing time right now is what you're looking for. Also, I like having players on my roster that have position flexibility, especially when you're in those daily transaction |
| 1:10.9 | league. |
| 1:11.2 | So I understand, you know, people are going to say, well, he's 30% rostered on CBS. |
| 1:15.4 | That's already a pretty high number. |
| 1:16.7 | If you look at Yahoo, if you look at ESPN, it's, again, always going to be less than |
| 1:20.8 | that. |
| 1:21.6 | And for me, when you have those daily transaction leagues and you have somebody that's either |
| 1:25.0 | heard or taking a day off or whatever that might be and you have Brett Beat Beatty in the lineup for the Mets, you can plug him in a lot of spots and continue to kind of get some productivity. So again, I think Bady's a guy that has a certain ceiling for sure and it's not a very high one. But at his best, he's making good contact and trying to put the ball in play there. And I think that he does offer a little bit of power as well. |
| 1:45.0 | So Viantos has been pretty good for them. Bady's been pretty good for them. So I'm looking at Brett Bady being a guy that probably should be floating out the waiver wire. When Lendor comes back, obviously it gets a little trickier. But with the baby Mets right now and AJ Ewing playing well and Benj playing well and Soto looking good, Mets offense is starting to turn things around, especially with Boba Bichette, starting to get hot as well. |
| 2:03.7 | So don't discount Brett Beatty in that mix. Welsh, who are you looking for at a hitter this week to add to Major League Baseball? Post hype, hype, hype, not sleeper. Nobody really likes him anymore. But he's back. Dylan Cruz with Washington Nationals. |
| 2:17.9 | That's someone I may be taking a look at in the consensus ownership on Fantasy |
