He was quietly reading the newspaper when his wife walked up behind him and hit him on the head with a frying pan. He said, what was that for? She said, that was for the piece of paper I found in your pocket with the name Mary Lou on it.

He said, oh, honey, that's just one of the horses that I bet on at the racetrack last week.

She apologized, went about her business.

Two days later, she hit him on the head with a bigger frying pan.

When he came to, he said, what in the world was that for?

She said, your horse just called.

That's not inspiring at all, but say it like you mean it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am.

I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do. Today I will be taught the word of God.

I boldly confess, my mind is alert, my heart is receptive.

I will never be the same.
