And the title of today's post is, Don't Fear the Storm.

Today I'm going to share the message with you that I gave at the gala in D.C. this past Sunday night. I've shared some of the content in previous posts,

but even if some is familiar to the faithful listeners, I pray it inspires you. Ronald Reagan once

told the following story. A fellow was running for office as a Republican in a heavily Democratic state and stopped

by a farm to do some campaigning.

When the farmer heard he was a Republican, his jaw dropped.

And he said, you wait right here while I get mall.

She's never seen a Republican.

So he went to get mall.

While they were gone, the candidate looked around for a platform from which to give his speech.

The only thing he could find was a pile of that stuff that Best Truman took 35 years trying to get Harry to call fertilizer.

So he got up on that mound.

When they came back, he gave his speech.

At the end of it, the farmer said, that's the first time I ever heard a Republican speech. At the end of it, the farmer said, that's the first time I ever heard a Republican

speech. The candidate said, that's the first time I've ever given a Republican speech from a

democratic platform. Only Reagan. Speaking of unpleasant debris piles,

the stories told of a man named Samuel Skull

who settled in the Arizona desert with his family.

One night, a fierce desert storm struck with hail, rain, and high winds.

At daybreak, fearing what he might find, Samuel went out to survey their loss. It was devastating.

The hail had beaten the garden into the ground. The house was partially unroofed.
