We are in week two of a series we're calling Wicked.

And this series is about the worship of wealth.

And last week God really did challenge us to view the categories of what God calls wicked.

He said in his word that the worship of wealth is wicked.

And some of y'all like, obviously, yeah, like obviously, like greedy people, people who

won't obey what God says to do with the people who are stingy, like, yeah. But the other thing

that he explicitly calls wicked is people who waste their wealth. And I know there are a lot of

people, especially if you're in church, a lot of people won't necessarily claim being ones who

are wicked because they're they're actually

worshiping wealth no I worship God I worship God I only worship God but God thought it's so

important that he put it in his words so plainly only one place in the Bible

does he compare himself to anything because he just know he's him and he don't got to compare himself to nobody

But there was only one place. He said you cannot serve both God and money

He said because I know you'll never call it this but you'll make it your idol or your God and

So if you waste it or you worship

it, it's, everybody say, wicked. And the word, y'all ain't even say it, say wicked. Yeah. Because the

truth of the matter is some of y'all have been living a wicked life when it comes to finances.

Nobody's saying it, but go through your budget and see how much you wasted last month.
