episode number 472 I'm welcoming to the show comedian Dustin Nickerson. I do agree with

your sentiment that are guys making connections and that that to me is not just a struggle of dad that's

a struggle of years of a culture of masculinity failing men that it's weak to show of

that it's weak to show feelings and emotions to that it's lame to want to want to have a relationship

with another male friend to share about your feelings and how you're doing and

to make human connections. Not only is Dustin a comedian, he is an author and a

podcaster, he and his wife, Melissa, co-host the podcast. Don't make me come back there.

Which I gave a different title at the end of my episode accidentally. He was so gracious. In their show they

try to laugh at and also talk through the tough parts of parenting and so I ask

him today about what it's like to try to balance family, work, travel, and for dads to create meaningful connections and friendships and how we as moms can help our

husbands not dad alone. He claims over and over throughout this episode he is not

the dad expert but I appreciate him giving his

perspective and reminding us that the more busy we get with family and work, it's harder to lean in and

make those relationships a priority. So it does help if we as women encourage our husbands.
