Summary

Remember the old saying "don't believe everything you read in the newspaper?" If you've been paying any attention to the lamestream media at all, you've been smothered with bad news about the economy. Prices are high, inflation is high, interest rates are high, etc. The media downplayed all this during the Biden years but have hit Trump hard with bad news after bad news on the economy. As usual with the lamestream media, not everything is as it seems! Breitbart News Economics Editor John Carney reported that prices are actually going down, and all the doom-and-gloom predictions about tariffs harming the economy are wrong. Okay, there was some short-term pain, but now we're seeing good news: prices are down, inflation is down, interest rates are down. Don't believe everything you see in the lamestream media: Trump's policies are working! Mike opens up the phones to you. He wants to hear the good news about the economy you won't see in the rest of the media. Then former Trump economist Stephen Moore backs up the numbers with expert analysis. Finally, some good news you won't see in the lamestream media!

Then we started talking about the economy. And I wanted good news about the economy. I don't know how much I set this up in this opening segment that we're going to play here. So let me just do it real quick. The media is going to say how awful the economy is for one year. It's our job to tell the truth. And we took all these phone calls from people with their data points on how they believe the economy is doing,

0:37.8

what they see, what they live every day. It's really important to know these stories because

0:40.8

the lame stream sure isn't going to tell them. The main thing I want to do for the next two hours here is talk about good things going on in the economy.

1:09.9

And here's the very short of why.

1:11.5

Perception is more important than reality in politics. I want to know the truth, though,

1:17.3

about how the economy is doing because the left, the media, their only game they have right now

1:21.3

is to talk about how awful the economy is. It's terrible. Prices are up. Things are terrible.

1:26.8

It's awful and and people are

1:28.4

going to believe that unless we know the truth unless we can come back with actual

1:31.7

stories of no no here's what's really happening and there's a thing that happens to

1:36.0

and I'll stop talking because I want to take your calls where people they'll be

1:39.6

asked in a survey how's the economy for you and people will say oh like really

1:44.1

good things are good,

1:45.4

actually. And then the next question is, how do you think the economy is for other people? And they'll

1:51.2

say, oh, terrible, awful. Wait, hold on. What do you mean? And I can explain why that exists,

1:57.7

but today I want to take your calls on things that are going good in the economy right now and how we can tell to combat the left's narrative that it's terrible and awful because that's all they have for a year so if we can combat that with the truth then that'll be real good I'm going to Dirk because he called in first and then Keith as a data point which is exactly why I wanted to do this segment, because I never would have thought of this.

2:18.9

Keith, and Mike and Tim and everyone else calling in, we'll get to your calls here. It's got to Dirk in New York. Dirk, how are you, brother? I'm doing well, Slater. First time call, a long-time listener. Greatly appreciate you taking my call. Thank you for calling in. What's your data here on why the economy is going well, you think?

2:35.7

Okay, so I'm in construction and in construction. call. Thank you for calling in. What's your data here on why the economy is going well, you think?

2:35.0

Okay, so I'm in construction.
